A friend reminded me today that I hadn't posted on my blog in awhile- and I agree, it's been forever!!! To all my sweet followers, I apologize...life just gets busier with every passing day!
The holidays flew by this year! Thanksgiving was spent in Georgia with my husband's family, Christmas was in Ohio with mine, and New Year's was spent with our friends the Fraziers. It was such a blessing to share those times with our families and friends, and I am so thankful for the ability to travel and see them (pictures and posts from those holidays are coming soon!).
I've enjoyed having Josh off from seminary this past month. Unfortunately, he only has another week off before taking his Acts-Romans class and then starting another semester in full swing. I have to admit, I'm going to miss having him home during the day. Between writing sermons, preparing for Bible studies and getting ahead on his spring classes, he's able to do laundry and keep the house nice and clean for me. I've gotten spoiled not having to do so much of those things when I get home!
My job is still going really well and I very much enjoy it. Working with kids is most certainly where I'm called to be, and I would change that for anything. They say and do the funniest things! And I'm so blessed with a great work environment and coworkers as well :)
The weather here in the south is still taking some getting used to for me. I told Josh the other day that I keep waiting for winter to start- and then I realize that this is all the colder it gets! Not complaining of course, I can certainly handle 40 degree weather all winter!!! At the end of last week, there was a lot of hype about a snow storm though, and I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed when I woke up Friday morning and there was barely a dusting on the ground.
So, that's us for now! I'm off to do P90X with my husband and then crash into bed before another busy day of work tomorrow! I'll hopefully post more pictures very soon :)
