Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Blum | Cleveland Wedding Photography

There's something about weddings that always gets to me. Even as a photographer who doesn't know the bride and groom very well, you can feel the emotion. The day is so special. It's not just a wedding, it's the day that two lives become one. With just 15-30 minutes time, a few simple words of instruction, and the uttering of "I do" two lives are changed. I always get the shivers when the end of the ceremony comes and the officient says "What God has joined together, let not man separate." It always has a solemnizing effect on me, but at the same time it is such a joyous occasion!
The weather in Cleveland last week could not have been better! It was a picture perfect day; bright and sunny and warm. Mr and Mrs. Andrew Blum are a really awesome couple and it was such a priviledge to be able to take part in their special day.

  1. Wow! You've got some treasures here.
Love the kissing silhouette against the streaming window light. That is classy.

Also, excellent detailed shot of the rings suspended on the buttons. Awesome! Really. I loved that when I first saw it!

Also, I love (desperate need for synonyms) the image of the blurred bride and focused flowers. It reminded me a of similar shot Rachel took at Daniel and Ashlee's wedding: foreground, the edge of a bouquet and background, blurred ceremony.

Wonderful to see these! Would love to take a peek at more if you have the time to share.

I have to ask - where do you get all these connections to weddings??? I mean, you and Rach seem to have a wedding shoot every other week! ;-) JK. (that's a good thing) Maybe living in Cleveland as opposed to a more rural area is what provides you with so many opportunities. From what I recall, I can only remember one personal friend getting married in the last four years!

Okay, love these photos. Thanks for posting. :-)
