Blog announcement!!!

Hey all!

       Wedding pictures are in, but don't get your hopes up just yet---they're coming soon ;) but in the meantime, I wanted to let y'all (I've been living in the south for 6 weeks and they're already getting to me!) know that my blog will be moving! ...Well, sort of. I'm getting a new look, new name, and new blog address, but the blog will still all be here, just like before. You'll still be able to view old posts and your subscriptions will hang on, but the catch is that when you type in this url (http://simpledreams-ashleykate.blogspot.com/) you will get an error message that tells you that the blog you are searching for is no longer available or does not exist.

       Sooo, what're you gonna do about it? You're going to remember this post and type joshuasbride.com into your browser and the new blog will pop up! Got that? If you have any questions, feel free to comment and ask away!

       I'll still be hanging out here for a few more days, just to make sure that everyone gets the memo, but be sure to check out the new blog when it comes!!!

Exhaustion.

He's been studying this all week. 

It wore him out a bit, so he's decided to study the inside of his eyelids this afternoon. 

Visitors!!!!

I was so excited when my mom called me last Saturday and asked if she and the kids could come for a 3 day visit that very next day! Of course, I said yes, and it was so good to see them!

We had a wonderful time! We relaxed, played games, swam in the pool, had dinner and ice cream out, and had a chance to show them around Charlotte a little bit :) I kept meaning to take some pictures, but didn't end up getting the camera out until we took them to our new church where Josh is interning to show them around.

Honeymooners

Two days after our wedding, we headed to the airport and boarded our flight to Jamaica!!! 

It was beautiful. Our resort was great and we had a wonderful week!

One of the pools-this is where we would come if we wanted peace and quiet.

There was always something happening at this pool, so if we wanted to hear some music or get in on a game, we hung out here.

We took a walk on the beach pretty much every night before and after dinner. The first night we were there, someone had written this in the sand :D

 It was SO hot. The only thing that saved us was the non-stop wind.

 There's a slight haze in these pictures- the humidity was so thick that it was really hard to keep my lens from fogging up.

Josh always insisted on turning the camera around on me :P

 This picture was straight out of the camera. Blue sky. Aqua water. Amazing.

 Snorkeling! We saw a sting ray and tons of other colorful, incredible things!

 We drank SO many pina coladas :P

High humidity + water= crazy hair!

 He loves me so much he'll even wear an Indian's hat for me!

Brown legs. Good books. Blue skies and water. Being there with my husband. I don't think it could've gotten any better :D
